On May 31st, the Queen of Roadhouse Rock, Eve Selis will debut her brand new CD Angels and Eagles, at La Jolla's Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in the Sherwood Auditorium at 8 pm. A gifted songwriter and electrifying performer, Eve Selis is well-known both to the San Diego music scene and to those lucky enough to have seen her on tour. Her voice is regularly lauded by critics as nothing short of a masterpiece: passionate, melodic, raspy and sweet, with a phenomenal range rarely heard in pop music.

This multi-award winner has headlined coast to coast, from the House of Blues in Hollywood to the legendary Bitter End in NYC. She has shared the stage with such notables as B.B. King, Albert Lee, the Doobie Brothers, Joan Osborne, Crosby, Stills and Nash among many others.

With a voice described as "lemonade and whisky, Selis soars and sails over 10 original tunes in addition to covers of Kim McLean, Patty Griffin and Gram Parsons on the new CD, Angels and Eagles. U.S. Release May 31, 2008, European Release June 23, 2008.

The release of this self-produced album coincides with a Summer 08 European tour with distribution from U.K. label Proper Records.

Engineered and mixed by co-producer Alan Sanderson of StrateSound Recording Studios, who has worked other such luminaries as B.B. King, Weezer, Elton John, The Rolling Stones, Fiona Apple, Johnny Cash and more. Following the European release there will be five bonus tracks available on iTunes, one of which is, 65 Roses,. All proceeds from this track will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
