Advance tickets on sale Tuesday, December 1st at 10:00am Fringe returns Saturday, March 13, 2010 with all the multimedia extravagance you've come to expect from this renown concert series, dubbed “chamber music for the iPod generation.” Doors open at 7pm for audience members to view the art gallery and enjoy the DJ spinning in the courtyard. Once seated, the evening will feature a short film curated by the Atlanta Film Festival, the acclaimed musician documentaries, and virtuoso cellist Erin Breene will join us from California to perform a sonata with pianist Brandt Fredriksen. Later, the centerpiece of the evening will be a performance of the Schubert "Trout" Quintet, with piano, violin (Fia Mancini Durrett), viola (Tania Clements), cello and string bass (Emory Clements). Re-living the performances after the event is no problem, since each audience member will receive a free .mp3 download of the music recorded that evening. Tickets are $12.50 for adults and $7.50 for students in advance and $15/$10 at the door (if available). For those wishing to lend more support to this worthy endeavor, “pay what you wish” tickets are offered at $25 and $50. More information about the performers and the series is available at FringeAtlanta.org.
