Ticket Alternative Offers New Technology at Third Annual Rock Fore Dough March 02, 2007
Augusta, Ga.— Atlanta's own Ticket Alternative is pleased to announce its involvement with the “Drive for Show, Rock Fore! Dough” benefit scheduled for Tuesday April 3, 2007.
This is the third year Ticket Alternative has been selected as the box office of choice for Rock Fore Dough. As a fundraising event, it is vital that the maximum dollar amount per ticket sale goes toward the cause. That's why Ticket Alternative, with no setup fees and minimal convenience charges, is an ideal choice.
Music fans attending the event featuring popular acts Dashboard Confessional and Cheap Trick will also benefit from Ticket Alternative's latest technological advances including the Express Entry System and Remote Box Office Application. Customers can now print their own tickets from home, while Ticket Alternative provides scanners to verify the tickets at the door. Print at home tickets mean the end of long will call lines and the risk of losing your tickets in the mail!
The remote box office adds further flexibility as customers can now buy tickets in person on site in addition to online and over the phone. The remote box office communicates directly with Ticket Alternative's inventory list to insure accurate, real-time sales data.
These latest advances are representative of Ticket Alternative's continuous growth and development. Formed just five years ago by music fans Iain Bluett and Jamie Dwyer, the company has grown from two employees operating from home to an international venture with a satellite office in the UK and thousands of events nationwide.
All proceeds for Drive for show, Rock Fore! Dough will go to support The First Tree of Augusta, the Augusta chapter of The First Tee Network. The First Tee of Augusta provides learning facilities and educational programs that promote character-development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf. Its focus is to give young people of all backgrounds an opportunity to develop, through golf and character education, values such as honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship. The First Tee of Augusta was established in 2001 and is locally owned and operated by FORE! Augusta Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises funds and oversees he operation of the facility.
Tickets for the show go on sale Saturday, March 3rd at 10 a.m.
