Ticket Alternative Provides Opportunity to Drink Beer for a Good Cause
August 17, 2005
San Diego, Calif.—Ticket Alternative announced Monday that they will be selling tickets for the 11th Annual San Diego Festival of Beer.
The festival is a charity event sponsored by the San Diego Professionals Against Cancer (SPDAC). Proceeds will benefit cancer research, patient services, education, and cancer prevention.
The brew will be flowing on Friday, Sept. 23, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in beautiful downtown San Diego at Columbia and B Street. SDPAC will feature over 100 different beers provided by 40 participating microbreweries.
This is the second year Ticket Alternative has taken part in the San Diego Festival of Beer. With no set-up fee and notably low services charges, Ticket Alternative proved to be the ideal ticketing company for this charity event.
"Since we are a small not for profit we can't afford Ticketmaster, who we did look into," said SPDAC Presisdent Candace Brown. "We are a low budget operation, and Ticket Alternative's tickets and services give us the look and feel of a much larger entity."
Tickets for the San Diego Festival of Beer are $25 and are currently available online at www.ticketalternative.com. This ticket price includes 10 tastings (each tasting is 4 oz.) and live music from Len Rainey & The Midnight Players and Night Shift. Additional tastings and food will be available for purchase once inside.
Make sure to get there early! The first 3,000 patrons into the event receive a free souvenir tasting glass! A selection of fine wines will also be available for purchase by the glass.
