Pat Green Returns to Tin Roof for 2005 Backstage Concert
August 17, 2005
NASHVILLE, Tenn.—After selling over 4,500 tickets at the first ever Backstage Concert Series in 2004, Pat Green will be making his triumphant return behind the acclaimed Tin Roof in Nashville on Sept. 7, 2005.
"The performance last year was great," says event co-organizer Kyle Denzel. "Pat puts on a tremendous show."
Situated on "music row" at 1516 Demonbreun St., Tin Roof has been heralded by CitySearch as one of the best places to see live music in Nashville.
The Backstage Concerts have showcased some of the most impressive country music stars, sending them and their fans out the backdoor to the 5,000 –capacity stage area.
Tickets for Pat Green are available through www.ticketalternative.com, and will cost country fans just $10. Keeping ticket prices low was one of Denzel's priorities, and one of several reasons why he chose to use Ticket Alternative for a second year. Although he was familiar with Ticketmaster and other larger ticket retailers, Ticket Alternative offered the most reasonable quote.
"We didn't want to put an $8.00 service charge on top of a $10.00 ticket," said Denzel.
Denzel added that his experience with Ticket Alternative during last year's Backstage series was more than satisfactory. In particular, he pointed to their exceptional phone support and easy to use reporting features.
"They did everything they said they were going to do," remarks Denzel. "They were quick to make tickets available online…They even sent a person on site to help with will call."
Flawless ticketing is always key for running a successful event, especially with the numbers Tin Roof expects to draw.
Texan Pat Green is certainly no stranger to shows of this scale. His career got a huge boost when, after releasing just one record, he performed at Willie Nelson's July 4th picnic where he wowed a crowd of 2,000. In just seven years, Green has received three Grammy nominations, scored a Top 5 Billboard Country Single, and sold out the colossal Houston Astrodome. In fact, he is currently on the road supporting the legendary Kenny Chesney, filling stadiums across the nation.
You can bet your best boots those shows cost a pretty penny more than $10. In fact, for several of those Ticketmaster performances, fees alone top $10.00.
